CTU River Conservation & Fly Fishing Camp

Youth-Camp.jpg

The Colorado Youth Camp, which was established by Sharon Lance (a former Cutthroat Chapter President), provides coldwater conservation education as well as fly fishing instruction on everything from tying flies to casting for 14-18 year old students from across Colorado. The Colorado Youth Camp has served as a model for other TU chapters around the country.

Cutthroat Chapter participates in the Colorado TU Youth Camp annually by sending up to three qualifying students to the annual River Conservation and Youth Camp. Applicants write a short essay explaining why they would like to attend the Youth Camp.

The final application will need to be completed through the Colorado TU website mentioned above in the appropriate section. There is a section for both campers and counselors and the application can be completed by clicking “Apply Here” at the bottom of that section. Here is a link to the youth camp website.
